Issue Description:

General Information

We have recently updated our Hosted Exchange 2013 service with Exchange Server 2013 Cumulative Update 7, this update has impacted upon Public Folder functionality for users running Microsoft Windows XP operating system. The only workaround available for affected customers is to access Public Folders via Outlook Web App.

Microsoft Windows XP went out of support with Microsoft in April 2014, we strongly recommend updating Microsoft Windows XP desktop clients to a more recent operating system that is currently supported. Cobweb no longer includes Microsoft Windows XP clients as part of our testing matrix when installing Exchange updates.

Cobweb issued the following statement in February 2014:

A while ago Microsoft announced the end of product life and withdrawal of support for Windows XP on 8th April 2014. Since that time Cobweb has endeavoured to support our customers using this version of Windows on our Hosted Exchange service. Cobweb will withdraw support for Windows XP as of 8th April 2014 and existing customers are strongly advised to upgrade their Windows Operating System.  If you experience a technical problem connecting to Cobweb Hosted Exchange from a Windows XP computer after 8th April 2014 customer support will need to reproduce the issue on a supported operating system before any technical support will be provided.

This does not mean your current services will stop working but as service packs will no longer be available you are likely to experience a degrading service over a period of time.
